Works in Progress

Every story begins as a whisper—an image, a question, a fracture in the surface of truth. This section offers a glimpse into the narratives I’m currently shaping: psychological thrillers steeped in ambiguity, emotional tension, and the kind of unease that lingers long after the final page. From twisted family dynamics to high-tech paranoia, each project is a descent into the slippery terrain of human motive. Below, you’ll find what’s brewing, what’s evolving, and what’s dangerously close to surfacing.

Mr Matthews — February 2026

In Cardiff, Mr Matthews is the teacher every parent trusts and the man his family depends on. But behind the charm and tailored suits lies a past he’s desperate to keep buried—and a growing dependence on wine that threatens to crack his carefully curated life.

When a vulnerable pupil’s admiration crosses a line, he’s pulled into a dangerous mix of guilt, temptation, and fear. One storm‑lashed mistake sends everything spiralling, exposing betrayals and truths he’s spent years avoiding.

As his world collapses, Mr Matthews must confront the darkness he’s tried to outrun—or lose Michelle, Tony, and the life he’s fought to protect.

A tense, unsettling psychological thriller that asks: how far will a good man fall to save himself?

Innocent  — Summer 2026

Innocent is a gripping psychological drama that unravels the lives of two families torn apart by betrayal, suspicion, and the devastating power of secrets. Daniel Morgan, a respected civil engineer, returns home from London to his loving family—only to have his world shattered when he is arrested for a crime he cannot remember, accused of assaulting a teenage girl he’s known since childhood. As the evidence mounts and the media frenzy grows, Daniel’s wife Clara is forced to confront not only her husband’s possible guilt, but the cracks in their marriage and the shadows of her own past.

Across town, Rachel Hart is left reeling by her daughter Lila’s accusation and the tragic consequences that follow. As friendships fracture and alliances shift, both women are drawn into a web of lies, manipulation, and long-buried resentments. With the truth locked behind encrypted messages and the ghosts of old betrayals, Clara and Rachel must decide whether to trust each other—or themselves—before everything they love is destroyed.

Taut, emotionally charged, and unflinching in its portrayal of trauma and loyalty, Innocent asks: how well do we ever know those closest to us? And what happens when the truth is the most dangerous secret of all?
